2026 is Bittercreek Alehouse’s 30th year of operation! We officially opened our doors on Saturday February 11th, 1996. We are planning for a year of activities including a celebration of all the people who have worked at Bittercreek over the years.

The Dandelion Festival - City of Good

Every spring, we invite hundreds of volunteers to help harvest dandelions for our Dandelion Root Beer and Dandelion Beer; both served at the festival and used to raise funds for the festival and City of Good. The Dandelion Festival is a city-wide celebration of music, art, food, and urban ecology, bringing together dozens of nonprofits and community partners. Proceeds support year-round City of Good programs, from the Food Hub to the Mobile Market.

Father’s Day Car Show - Downtown Boise Association

8th/9th Bannock/Jefferson Downtown Boise

Sunday June 21, 2026 | 10am-3pm (trophies awarded at 2:30pm)

Started in front of Bittercreek over 25 years ago, this is the nation’s only classic car show that also features custom and new electric vehicles. Held in front of the Capital in downtown Boise, the event doubles as an alternative transportation and EV showcase. We anticipate more than 300 cars in 2026, register your classic or electric early, and make sure dad has this on his schedule.

Boise’s vibrant multi-national community comes together to celebrate art, culture, music, films, and people!  Includes participants representing our Mexican, Basque, Native Americans, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Indonesia, Bosnian, African, Lao, North, and South America, Middle Eastern, Indian and Greek communities.

Harvest Moon Dinner - The Boise Farmers Market

The Harvest Moon Dinner, an event that started in downtown Boise, features a 5-course farm to table meal prepared by amazing local chefs with ingredients from our Boise Farmers Market producers. This is the big annual fundraiser for Boise Farmers Market.
