A Living Wage, Every Year

Every year, we calculate Boise’s current living wage and make it the minimum anyone on our team will earn. For 2025, that’s $20 an hour. No exceptions.

The same principle that drives us to pay fair prices to Idaho farmers drives us to pay fair wages to the people who cook the food, pour the beer, set the table, and welcome the guests. It’s the same deal.

What It's Like to Work Here

We run three downtown Boise restaurants and a small brewery, all built on the idea that local food systems matter and that hospitality is how we bring that idea to life. Our menus follow the seasons. Our beer is brewed with Idaho-grown ingredients. We know our farmers by name, and we think you should too.

We call how we work Inspired Hospitality: hospitality rooted in place, grounded in the stories of the people who produce our food, and built on the belief that everyone who walks through our door deserves to feel welcome. That includes you.

What Guides Our Work:

People

Hospitality is an act of inclusion. Our kitchens, dining rooms, and brewery are places where every person is safe, seen, and valued. That's not aspirational. It's the job.

Place

We source locally because we think it's the right thing to do. When you work here, you'll learn where the food comes from, who grew it, and why it matters. That knowledge changes how you cook, how you serve, and how you think about food.

Progress

We're always trying to get better, reducing waste, conserving resources, refining how we operate. We're not perfect. But we show up every day and try.

The Table

When you join Just Eat Local, you’re not just taking a job in a restaurant. You’re joining a team that’s been trying to do right by Idaho’s farmers, makers, and communities since 1996. We’ve got a long way to go. We’d like your help getting there.
